Too much

Our group of happy friends had enjoyed a lovely few days of laughter and intimacy and spent today at the beautifully picturesque town of Orta San Giulio...but I realised that the holiday had been too much for two of them when I saw one with his arms around a bronze "artist" and the other walking a blown up "cow"...

About Me

I am middle aged. My partner is Stuart. I have no children of my own but I do share 2 stepchildren and 4 nieces and nephews. I love words. In 2008, my partner and I purchased a 200 year old stone house and 5 acres of forest surrounding it in Piemonte, Italy. We spent the next year dreaming about it before we tossed our global careers to the wind and moved there. We knew we didn't have enough money to last long but we wanted to test our dream to see if it really was everything we thought it would be. It was. Far too quickly our money ran out so we returned to the Pacific and worked 2 years in Australia and 1 year in Papua New Guinea. We have recently counted our pennies again, resigned and returned to our little slice of history in Italy.
