The demolition is finished! We now have a three storey cavity, the subject of many of my current nightmares which involve stone walls collapsing. As a sign of respect for my subconscious, Stu has agreed to leave the beams in situ to support the walls until the builders have installed the i-beams for the traditional voltini.
